EDUCATE
From our inception, we established an engaging arts education program that provides multiple entry points into the creative world of performance for children and families, students and teachers. The framework for developing the holistic arts education program and projects is based on national and international research including our University of South Australia partnership arts research project Children's Voices (2003 - 2005).
Our Arts Education Manager, Julie Orchard is seconded from the Department of Education and Children's Services directly through Curriculum Services, Inclusion and the Arts. The appointment of a seconded teacher endorses our shared commitment of DECS to developing partnerships between the education sector and arts industry. Windmill is a working example of the DECS and Arts SA strategy for arts education, ARTSsmart.
RURAL ACCESS - 3D
